Universal group risk management training pmi rmp
SANA'A – October 7, 2026
Universal Group has concluded its "Financial and Administrative Risk Management Based on PMI-RMP® Domains" training program for employees of its finance and administration departments. The program was delivered by Al-Khair Center for Training and Social Development from October 4 to 7, 2026, in Sana'a, and included 15 in-person training hours for 24 participants.
Built on International Standards
The program content followed the five domains of the PMI-RMP® certification framework from the Project Management Institute (PMI): risk strategy and planning, risk identification, risk analysis, risk response, and risk monitoring and closing. It addressed risks shared across the Group's companies while reflecting the specific nature of each business line, including travel and tourism, car rental, insurance, and security services.
From Theory to Practice
Each session included a hands-on exercise that built part of the Group's risk register. Participants worked on a range of risks, including:
Financial risks: liquidity, collections, revenue and expenses, credit, fraud, and financial volatility.
Administrative risks: human resources, procurement and contracts, assets, data, business continuity, and compliance.
Ready-to-Use Outcomes
By the end of the program, participants had produced practical tools ready for use across the Group:
- A unified risk register for the Group's companies.
- Response plans for priority financial and administrative risks.
- Early warning indicators.
- A monthly risk report template for senior management.
- Investing in People
The program is part of Universal Group's ongoing efforts to build a risk-aware organizational culture and to prepare its finance and administration teams to make decisions grounded in careful analysis of likelihood and impact.
