Al Khair Foundation for Social Development

Al Khair Foundation for Social Development has been the humanitarian arm of the Universal Group. Since its establishment in 2009, as the Group's social responsibility, AKF has dedicated all its efforts to offering and conducting free educational and training programs in various aspects of knowledge to those eligible, qualified and most in need. AKF also works towards the establishment of charitable educational institutions with the aim of promoting education and disseminating the value of learning especially among rural and disadvantaged communities, particularly focusing on youth of both genders in rural tribal areas. The Foundation also aims to provide sustainable employment opportunities for those youth locally and regionally.

Furthermore, the Foundation undertakes several projects, including improving livelihoods, education, and responding to emergencies. It also supports the dissemination, publication, and creation of purposeful studies, literature, social works, poetry, and etc. It strives to create a lasting positive impact on individuals and communities by providing the necessary support and resources to enable personal empowerment and achieve sustainable development.
