Universal Group Concludes Training of Trainers (TOT) Program
Universal Group concluded yesterday, Thursday 10 September 2026, its Training of Trainers (TOT) program, delivered by Al-Khair Center for Training and Social Development over five training days that began on 5 September at the Group's headquarters, with the participation of 20 employees and a 100% attendance and completion rate.
The course content was delivered in a practical, applied format covering the full training cycle — from identifying training needs through to measuring training impact — with the aim of building a core group of in-house trainers capable of designing, delivering and evaluating training programs to professional standards.
Why Training of Trainers?
Programs of this kind are among the highest-return investments in human resources development: their impact is not confined to the participants themselves but extends to everyone they will go on to train within the organization. The program forms part of the Group's wider direction toward building self-sustaining training capacity — converting the practical expertise accumulated by its employees into structured content that can be transferred and repeated, and reducing reliance on external training providers.
Full Participant Commitment
The program recorded full attendance throughout its five days without interruption, and all participants completed it through to the end — an indicator of the workforce's engagement with the content and of management's support for delivering the program on site.
Twenty Training Presentations Delivered by Participants
The training days featured direct hands-on application of the material covered, as participants delivered twenty outstanding training presentations, each designing their own session and presenting it before their colleagues, drawing on the skills they had gained in content preparation, delivery, room management and audience engagement. These presentations gave every participant the chance to test their abilities in a safe environment and to receive immediate feedback from the trainer and their peers. Participants expressed how much they had gained from the program and how much they enjoyed its interactive atmosphere and practical activities, which broke away from conventional lecture-style delivery, affirming that what they took from it can be applied directly in their daily work.
The program also placed greater emphasis on practice than on theory, so that each participant leaves able to design a complete training session, deliver it, and measure its impact. Its effect does not stop at the final training day: participants are expected to carry what they have gained into the workplace by passing their expertise on to colleagues across the Group's departments.
